Hand Arm vibration arises from the use of hand-held power tools and other equipment and is the cause of significant ill health (painful and disabling disorders of the blood vessels, nerves and joints). Hand arm vibration syndrome, HAVS, caused by the use of such equipment is preventable, but once the damage is done it is permanent.

Hand Arm Vibration Assessments
Glenside undertakes to assist companies in meeting their requirements under the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Regulations. Employers must assess and identify measures to reduce the risks from exposure to hand-arm vibration to protect against the risks to employee health.
